Coachella recap: Day 3

Photos by Alex Fink

(cactus bathing suit c/o Batoko, Alygne fringe kimono, Zara heels, Quay sunglasses, vintage backpack)

This bathing suit is EVERYTHING. I love that it is a very simple silhouette, because the cactus print does all the talking. Seriously, I could not have asked for a more suitable bathing suit in the desert. Thank you Batoko for sending this gem to me just in time for Coachella! This was the third and final day of weekend 1 in the desert. I did end up going back for a day for weekend 2, so I'll have one last desert post coming atcha soon!

Coachella recap: Day 2

Photos by Alex Fink

(Nastygal dress, Zara shoes, vintage backpack & hat)

Still working on posting photos from last week in the desert, sorry for the lag! It's funny because I actually just got back from my second weekend in Palm Springs, so bare with me as I play catch up! Day 2 I decided on a more wearable day look and not just a bikini + cover up situation (which I did wear for day 3). I bought this cut out maxi dress years ago and never had the opportunity to wear it. I love the playful polkadot print on it and the bold color instantly cheered me up. I wanted to take advantage of the high slit and chose a super sexy lace up heel that peeped out every so often when I walked. Kind of obsessed with these heels right now. I wore them all weekend! Anyway, now I'm back in LA, missing the desert already. I'm definitely having a serious case of the Monday blues.

Coachella recap: Day 1

Photos by Alex Fink

(Alygne fringe kimono, Forever 21 crochet bikini & sandals)

What I love the most about being in Palm Springs is the ability to lounge around in a bikini all day without a care in the world. The weather is absolutely perfect, the drinks are strong, and you get to dance and swim all night with your best friends. On our first day there we took it easy and hung around the house most of the day. It was one of the most relaxing nights I've had in a long time. Much needed after the hectic few months I have been having lately. I chose to wear an all white ensemble while my roommate wore a black coverup with her doc martens. It's funny because we are literally polar opposites in personalities yet we get along so well, and it shows in the way we dress as well. She's been to 3 Coachellas with me and I really couldn't imagine my trip without her. In fact, I think we are going back next weekend for round 2! Now I gotta figure out what to pack (again)..
