Cozy, comfy, and functional look I wore last week to my good friend Tommy's party. Congrats to him on his capsule jewelry collection with LZZR. I got to check out the pieces up close and personal and I've got to say, they are amazing! The theme of the party was minimalism so this outfit was perfect for the occasion. No fuss, no muss and probably the quickest I've gotten dressed in a while. Sometimes thinking minimal is all you need to focus and know exactly what you want to wear for the day.

seafoam

My all time favorite wardrobe staple is definitely a leather jacket. It completes any outfit and adds a whole lot of style to your look. In fact my blog is named after my favorite leather jacket. I love when I find leather jackets in interesting colors that still have that perfect fit. It's easy to find them in classic black but colors are a bit trickier. Luckily, I found this one at All Saints for an amazing deal. It is the perfect shade of seafoam, so pretty and surprisingly easy to pair with other colors. It's definitely going to be in heavy rotation this winter, and probably forever.

winter styling tips

Nothing looks more chic than a blazer. Throw a chunky knit scarf over it and you'll have a fool proof winter ready outfit. One part cozy, one part stylish.

When wearing a monochromatic outfit, make the feet pop with a bright colored boot. Weather it's a classic black monochromatic look paired with an daring hot pink boot or a navy monochromatic look with a red boot, you'll surely turn heads in this unexpected combo.

Throw a blanket coat over your usual outerwear for some extra warmth. A great way to tie the outfit together is to make sure one of the outerwear pieces is in print and they are in the same colorway.

One of my favorite trends this season is the belted blazer. Cinching the waist is a great way to add some shape to the bulky layers of winter. You can also apply to chunky sweaters and coats for the same effect!

A chunky over-sized beanie is a great way to add fun to an outfit. Especially if it is brightly colored and contrasts with the rest of the outfit.

No need to put your dainty dresses away for the season. Pair your favorite feminine dress with tights and an over-sized coat for a sweet ensemble ready to take on the cold.
